Ceremony Coaching for Friend & Family Officiants

When a couple asks a friend or family member to officiate their ceremony, it says so much about their personal values and their vision for their wedding day. You are not looking for a stranger with a generic script. You want someone whose love for you will come through in every word, someone who truly knows you and can speak to your story in a way no one else can.
Ceremony Coaching Package $345
My coaching is done one-on-one, directly with the person who will be creating and officiating your ceremony. They will have my full attention and focus through live sessions that are completely custom-tailored to best support them for your specific wedding. Daytime and evening hours are available, with video-call and in-person options for convenience.

We walk through every possible ceremony element together, exploring the proper structure, order and flow, and guidance for writing each part of the script. Your officiant will leave with a clear outline, a real direction, and so much less on their plate.

If you would like to include a unique ritual moment in your ceremony, we will explore options together and find something that feels authentic to who you are as a couple.

An extensive curated collection you and your officiant can browse to find readings that resonate with your story.

Includes sample vows and a writing guide, whether you are writing your own vows or your officiant is incorporating them into the ceremony script.

Typically scheduled 3 to 4 weeks before the wedding, this session covers the practical side of performing: working with a microphone, facilitating the processional, ceremony staging and blocking, where everyone stands, how to handle bouquets and rings, cues for the kiss and the recessional, and how to coordinate with your DJ, musicians and photographer so every moment flows seamlessly.

Professional tips and tricks, tangible ways to organize and prepare for the big day, a short comprehensive list of suggested materials for your officiant, all the critical details for the wedding day.

Step-by-step guidance on obtaining a One-Day Marriage Officiant License and properly completing and filing the New York State Marriage License.

Every question gets answered!

I will read your officiant’s written ceremony script and provide detailed feedback, either in writing or on a call, whichever is most helpful. This is typically scheduled about two months before the wedding, giving plenty of time to refine before the big day.
