This tale begins overseas (in Poland to be precise) where two old ladies (best friends to be more exact) decided to play matchmaker for one's niece and the other's nephew. Though rooted in an old tradition, their story took on a modern twist with email as the main means of communication, since Krystyna was living in Las Vegas and Lukasz was in DC at the time. Well, it turns out their aunts' intuition was spot on - the two hit it off instantly. After a few months of getting to know each other, Lukasz flew out to meet her for the first time in person and by the end of the three day trip, as he explains it, everything changed - they were in love. Fast forward a few years and here we were on their wedding day!
